The site is owned and operated by the University Of Metaphysical Sciences (UMS), while the blogs, forum posts, photos, books and magazines posted on the site ("content") are owned by the party listed as the provider or author. We provide this site for general informational purposes only. The content on this site may be changed without notice and is not guaranteed to be complete, correct or up-to-date. While we attempt to maintain this site on a regular basis, they may not reflect the most current developments within the profession. The opinions expressed at or through the site are the opinions of the individual author and may not reflect the opinions of the association and its individual members.Copyright Notice. Content and Comment Policy. UMS reserves the right to remove any and all content entries or comments that do not comply with the guidelines contained below. These include content or comments that use profanity, make personal attacks, or contain other inappropriate comments or material. Additionally, entries that are unsigned or contain “signatures” by someone other than the actual author may be removed. We ask that if you want to advertise your site or company that you do so in a tasteful manner and not spam our comments or make your content to be a blatant advertisement. This is not a link farm. Finally, we will take steps to block users who violate any of our posting standards, terms of use or any other policies governing this site. Prohibited Actions. You agree not to interrupt, or attempt to interrupt, the operation of the site in any way. Unauthorized use or modification of any information stored on the site may result in criminal and/or civil prosecution under federal, State and local law. Modification of Terms and Conditions of Use. UMS reserves the right to revise these Terms and Conditions of Use at any time by updating this Web page. Your continued use of the site constitutes your agreement to comply with such revisions, so you should visit this page from time to time.

*Posting Guidelines

We welcome your participation in posting content and comment threads.  In order to keep the experience a positive one for all of our users, we ask that you follow the rules outlined below. By submitting content or comments to this blog site, you are consenting to the following rules:

1. You agree that you are fully responsible for the content that you post. You may not post content that is libelous, defamatory, obscene, abusive, that violates a third party’s right to privacy, that otherwise violates any applicable local, state, national or international law, or that is otherwise inappropriate. Furthermore, you may not post content that degrades others on the basis of gender, race, class, ethnicity, national origin, religion, sexual preference, disability or other classification. Language intended to intimidate or to incite violence will not be tolerated. In addition, by posting material in a blog or comments, you represent that you have the legal right to reproduce, adapt, display, and distribute this material to others. UMS will not be held responsible for posted information that may infringe on a third party’s copyright, trademark, or other intellectual property rights.

2. You understand and agree that UMS may modify and republish the content of your posts. UMS may monitor user-generated content as it chooses and reserves the right to remove, edit or otherwise alter content that it deems inappropriate for any reason. By posting you agree that your comments may be republished by UMS online and in print.

3. You understand and agree that the user-generated content areas are to be used only for non-commercial purposes. This site prohibits any actions to solicit funds, promote commercial entities or otherwise engage in commercial activity through the post function. Doing so will have your post taken down, and repeated postings will result in a ban.
