11-26-09     While the goddess of the night is waxing to reach its full phase, we are all invited to wax our opportunities to express an attitude of  gratitude.   Thanksgiving always falls on a Thursday, day ruled by Zeus/Jupiter. The king of the gods governs optimism, abundance,  enthusiasm, and opportunities to expand our self-imposed limitations.  

What a wonderful invitation to contemplate what abundance means for us.  We can expand our sweet and caring hearts and feel how the love inside us can transcend reaching other like-minded hearts and souls.  

If you are a UMS student, you are encouraged to dive into the Transmission Skills meditation.  I do love this meditation because you can attract like-minded souls to your energy field to hold them into your spiritual shimmer.   The beauty of this meditation is that you will need to increase your own light and your own love in order to attract souls to you.   The souls will retain their free will and their energy will not only resonate with yours but its frequency will also be elevated.  By transmitting energy to others we are able to trigger light that they already hold and might not be conscious aware of. 

There are countless ways of expressing gratitude to others, keeping an open heart space, holding loved ones in our awareness is just one spiritual way of being thankful.  Another way is to silently say a prayer while holding the door open to an older person, or to a mother holding a baby.  When we genuinely smile at people we are also emanating light.
